SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION POLICY (INCLUDING NORTH YORKSHIRE LOCAL SAFEGUARDING PROCEDURES) FOR 2025/2026

The North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NYSCP) are pleased to share with you the updated Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (Including North Yorkshire Local Safeguarding Procedures) for 2025/2026.

The format of the document is split into three sections namely;

  • Important School Safeguarding Information and Key Contacts
  • School Child Protection Policy
  • North Yorkshire Local Safeguarding Procedures (previously known as the ‘manual’).

We advise that sections highlighted in green are reviewed and adapted in line with your individual setting’s context. The updated policy can be found at NYSCP (safeguardingchildren.co.uk)
