The Child Death Review process is a vital element of safeguarding practice nationally, ensuring that every child’s death is reviewed with care, sensitivity, and a commitment to learning. This training provides a clear and practical overview of how the process works locally within North Yorkshire and how agencies contribute effectively. What the training covers Participants will gain: An understanding of national Child Death Review statutory requirements Insight into the role and responsibilities of the Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP)Guidance on completing high‑quality reporting, including Form Bs and rapid responses Examples of effective multi‑agency working Confidence in contributing to reviews and sharing relevant information securely.
