New Free Training Opportunities for Professionals Working with Young People
We’re pleased to share an exciting programme of free, interactive online training workshops from NYY Training Offer , designed to support anyone working with, volunteering with, or supporting young people.
Delivered from a youth work perspective, these sessions offer practical, real-life learning to help build confidence, knowledge, and skills when responding to some of the complex and evolving issues affecting young people and communities today.
Who is this training for?
These sessions are open to a wide range of professionals and volunteers, including those working in:
- Education
- Youth work
- Social care
- Health services
- Community and voluntary organisations
- Local authorities
They are also suitable for anyone with an interest in developing their understanding of challenges affecting young people.
What to expect
Each workshop:
- Lasts approximately one hour
- Is interactive and discussion-based
- Encourages participants to share experiences and learn from others
- Includes time for questions and reflection
These are not traditional webinars—participants are encouraged to engage, contributing to a more meaningful learning experience.

Far Right Ideologies in Young People

This workshop provides:
- An overview of far-right extremism
- Insight into how radicalisation may present in young people
- Understanding of risk factors and vulnerabilities
- Guidance on how to have supportive conversations and access help
Basic Awareness of Misogyny

This session will help you:
- Understand what misogyny is and how it presents
- Recognise its impact on young people
- Build confidence in challenging harmful behaviours
- Effectively report and signpost concerns
Introduction to the Incel Subculture
14 July 2026 | 13:00–14:00 or 18:00–19:00
This workshop explores:
- The ‘incel’ subculture and its associated ideologies
- Key terminology and narratives
- How to spot concerns and respond appropriately
- Ways to support young people and build resilience
