NYSCP Developments in Safeguarding, Online Learning Session – Self Harm and Suicide Ideation Toolkit and Papyrus
We are excited to announce our next NYSCP Developments in Safeguarding Lunchtime Learning session, one of our free monthly webinars that features the latest information on best practices, changes to legislation and guidance, as well as local, regional, and national learning from the NYSCP. These events are dedicated to ensuring the latest information and knowledge to support the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
July’s learning event will focus on suicide prevention in youth, featuring training from PAPYRUS (Papyrus UK Suicide Prevention | Prevention of Young Suicide) with information from their SPARK programme, which raises awareness about suicide prevention and provides information about the work of PAPYRUS to help create a suicide-safer community. We are also pleased to have Dr. Gill Kelly from Public Health at North Yorkshire Council, who will be discussing the self-harm and suicide ideation pathway to be used by practitioners and will be answering questions on where to get support for children and young people.
This event is open to anyone working or volunteering with children, young people, and their families across North Yorkshire.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from experts and enhance your knowledge and skills in safeguarding children and young people. Bring your lunch and a cuppa, and sit back and learn.
