NYSCP School Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
The updated NYSCP Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (including North Yorkshire Local Safeguarding Procedures) for 2025 – 2026 has been updated to be reflective of the proposed amendments made to the draft version of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024 and has been streamlined, based on feedback. The document has been split into three categories:
- Important School Safeguarding Information and Key Contacts
- School Child Protection Policy
- North Yorkshire Local Safeguarding Procedures (previously known as the ‘manual’).
