Domestic Homicide Review Published Following the Death of Jayne

The Safer North Yorkshire Partnership has published the Domestic Homicide Review (DHR) Overview Report and Executive Summary relating to Jayne, who tragically died in Malton in 2024. The review examines the circumstances surrounding her death and identifies important learning for agencies working to prevent domestic abuse and safeguard vulnerable people.

The review highlights opportunities to strengthen partnership working, improve recognition of domestic abuse and coercive control, enhance trauma-informed practice, and support earlier intervention for those at risk.
