Audience
Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) and their deputies within all schools in North Yorkshire (i.e. maintained schools, academies, free, independent and private schools, pupil referral units and special schools). This session is focused on School DSL roles and is not suitable for other sectors/roles

Outline
YGAM: Ygam is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to preventing gaming and gambling harms among young people through education, awareness, and research. This session will give an overview of the service and the support they can offer for young people.
Ivison Trust: The session will cover an introduction to our service, what we do and how we support parents. We will also go through our Relational Safeguarding model as part of this.
School Liaison Team: Heidi Lewis from North Yorkshire police school liaison team will deliver a session looking at Op Divan (Early Intervention and prevention relating to weapons and knives), intelligence sharing, the current youth knife crime threat in North Yorkshire. Resources for primary and Secondary schools and the launch of a new VR crime resource.
CPOMS: Join Alicia and Jo from the CPOMS Customer Success Team for an engaging online session exploring how monitoring is used within the CPOMS system to support effective safeguarding practices, including how to extract and use strategic data to inform decision-making. This session will also include an overview of the CPOMS Premium Cases and Forms module, demonstrating how it can further enhance your safeguarding processes.
Business Unit Updates: The NYSCP business unit will give a brief overview of updates from the partnership, including the new online referral form, key document updates and an update from the Education Subgroup.
