Early Years Providers Safeguarding Audit Toolkits

The Safeguarding Audit Toolkits for early years providers have been updated.  The toolkits are to support the assessment of safeguarding practices to make sure adequate arrangements are in place.  Completion of the toolkit is not mandatory but designed as a support tool ensure compliance with the safeguarding and welfare requirements of the EYFS. 

Childminders working alone should use the Childminder toolkit.  All other early years providers, including childminders working with an assistant(s) should use the Early Years provider toolkit.
