Our colleagues at Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board are after an Administrative Assistant to support the Designated Nurses, Safeguarding Children.
The post holder will be a key member of the Designated Professionals team working as administrative support to the Designated / Deputy Nurses Safeguarding Children and Children in Care, North Yorkshire and York, and work closely with the Designated Doctors, and the Named Nurse Primary Care. The Designated Professionals provide a strategic and professional lead across the health community on all aspects of safeguarding children and meeting the needs of Children in Care. The Team is a key source of expertise for the ICB, NHSE/I, partner agencies and the Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships. The Team works closely with safeguarding colleagues across the health economy supporting professional development and provide advice and supervision in highly complex safeguarding cases.
The position entails providing efficient and comprehensive secretarial support for the three Designated Nurses Safeguarding Children (DNSC) and the Deputy Designated Nurse (DDNSC) for North Yorkshire and York. The main priority of the post is to ensure that all administrative tasks are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Duties involve diary management, minute taking, report typing, managing general correspondence and meetings. Additionally, the role supports the efficient sharing of sensitive and high risk information with Primary Care and as necessary across the health economy.
